HopkinsCoding is a software development company, founded in the United States, that produces a wide variety of open-source, freeware, and commercial products.

Open-Source Goal

Our goal for our open-source projects is to develop a template that meets general needs and leaves an open framework allowing developers to meet their more specific needs. We find that open-source projects too often come in a finished product format that makes it difficult for developers to integrate their ideas into the application. We aim to provide a building block that gives developers a solid place to begin development, rather than programming an application for the ground up. To help us do this we license all open-source applications and libraries under GPL. This gives developers the freedom they need to use and change the code to meet their individual needs. By providing open-srouce class libraries and software templates we allow developers to make ideas happen.

Commercial Products

When buying our commercial products, the price that is advertised is guarrenteed to be the price you pay. There are no fees for updates and if a newer release of the program comes out, you are entitled to either the newer or previous version, whichever is preferred, at no additional cost.

If a application comes in different version, progressively costing more and having more features, you can upgrade to a better version for the difference between the more expensive program's costs and the lesser's. This allows you to try out a program before committing to the cost of the full version.
